Illustration“Callaloo” is a children’s brand and one of my very own personal creations. Callaloo is a dish eaten throughout the Caribbean and it serves a metaphor for the mixing of many things to create one.
I created the Callaloo kids brand in 2013 with my partner and author Marjuan Canady. Since 2013, Callaloo has grown into a book series, a web series, live performance theater, and more.
The second book in the Callaloo series is titled “Callaloo:The Legend of the Golden Coqui”.
I served as the illustrator, cover artist, and layout designer.
